About the Project
Hivemind is a web application for Reiman Gardens for invertabrate care and task tracking. Our client was Nathan Brockman who is the Director of Entomology at Reiman Gardens. The goal of this project is to create a web application that allows caretakers to track and monitor invertebrate care and tasks.
This is important because invertrate species can be small and have many to an enclosure, there is a greater focus on larger species for husbandry, and there is little to no software on husbandry on invertebrates.
Hivemind fills these gaps by tracking species and enclosures. This includes batch task creation and completion. Hivemind is optimized for invertebrates such as tracking their life stages, lineages, and populations. Hivemind has a QR-driven mobile workflow to reduce caretaker error and save time.
Our project has many features that can be categorized into organization management, enclosure management, task management and system operations.
